Introduction

This blog was created to give readers the opportunity to post comments on the documentary movie, Begging for Billionaires or its related website. This movie catalogs the political corruption of Kansas City and suburbs.

Please note that we are not saying that Kansas City is particularly odious in its corruption. I am sure that a full study of any cities power structure will yield similar stories. That is no excuse. All political corruption must be rooted out.

After working on the movie for years I'm against eminent domain. I believe it sould be removed from our constitution. It's never used for the public good but always used by the rich, powerful and corrupt to steal from the poor and to give to the rich.

I didn't know what eminent domain was or how it left a web of corruption when it was used until Philip taught me all this during the making of this movie. Backroom deals were made in Kansas City that allowed non-union worker to work on City Projects that were pushed by a Democratic Mayor that was suppost to be pro-union. I was chased across the city by two union thugs that were taking bribes and betraying their unions.

I hadn't talked to Philip in over a year when I gave him call in November
of 2007. I told him the new video clips looked great. Phil and I are no longer friends after working on
Begging for Billionaires together.
The stress of a movie production often ends friendships and only God knows the right and the wrong of it.
At the core of it all is the truth that Phil is a better at business than I am and I underbid both contracts that I signed.
In my own blog I've begun to tell the behind the camera story of Begging for Billionaires.

I just saw the new movie clips.
Great Stuff! That new HD footage looks fantastic.

I love the new poster as much as I hated the old poster.
